2009 National Corn Growers Yield Contest - New York State Winners

This year’s highest non-irrigated corn yield of 319.32 bushels came from David Hula of Charles City, VA. The highest irrigated class yield of 346.02 came from Bill Wright of Walsh, CO.

2009 New York Corn Growers Association Yield Contest Winners

If you don’t want to enter into the National contest, why not enter the contest sponsored by the New York Corn Grower Association. There were 45 yield entries submitted this year spread out over 12 counties. This is a fun contest and I know of a lot of great yields that could have been entered this year! The winners of each region were recognized at this year’s NY Corn Expo in Syracuse on January 28th.
