| The New York Corn Growers Association (NYCGA) is sponsoring the 2008 New York Corn Grain and Corn Silage Yield Contest. The contest recognizes top New York corn growers, provides growers with information on high-yielding management strategies and emphasizes the importance of grain corn and corn silage in New York agriculture. Winners with the top grain yields and silage yields will be awarded from five regions drawn by the NYCGA. Contest winners will be recognized at the Annual New York Corn Expo in Waterloo on Jan. 28, 2009. All entries must be
received by August 15. (See attached entry form.) Farmers can submit up
to two entries. Find additional entry forms in Country Folks and at county
